Candyman

Don't. Say. His. Name. Specifically, don't say it five times looking in a mirror, or he'll kill you. Who would do that, right? Well, hold your horses!

"Candyman" is simultaneously the fourth film in the 1992 franchise and a fresh take on Clive Baker's original short story about a slave who is murdered and who becomes an urban legend. From horror film extraordinaire Jordan Peele ("Us", "Get Out") comes a thrilling motion picture starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ("Us") and Teyonah Parris ("If Beale Street Could Talk").

"Candyman" is out in the UK on 12 June 2020.

 

Saint Maud

A surprisingly unsettling psychological horror film that takes on curious religion practices, depicting the disturbing path chosen by a nurse who feels responsible to take care of every patient`s soul.

The thriller hits theatres on April 3rd. Starring Morfydd Clark ("Pride and Prejudice and Zombies", "The Personal History of David Copperfield").

 

Rumble

Monsters are wrestlers and humans train them. "Rumble" is the story of underdog monster Steve (voice Will Arnett)  who is trained by Winnie (voice Geraldine Viswanathan) to take part in the biggest competition against the fierce champion Tentacular (Terry Crews).

"Rumble" is out on 5 February 2021.

The High Note

The struggling life of a middle-aged black singer constantly pushing boundaries, played by Tracee Ellis Ross ("Black-ish"), intertwines with that of her talented assistant and composer who just wants to make a name for herself (Dakota Johnson). The rest is music.

"The High Note" comes out in May.
