Little Women

By Alexandra

Little Women (screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Sarah Polley, directed by Gerwig) is the film adaptation of a hugely successful novel by Louisa May Alcott. It follows the story of the four March sisters: Meg (Emma Watson), Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Amy (Florence Pugh) and Beth (Eliza Scanlen), as they navigate the beginning of their womanhood. It touches on love, work, fulfilment, family and rebelling.

The cast also features Timothée Chalamet as Theodore "Laurie" Laurence, Jo's love interest, and Meryl Streep as the wealthy Aunt March.

The trailer looks promising, enticing, and the story is right up Gerwig's street, as she has previous experience with writing and directing coming-of-age films (see Lady Bird review here). This should be a good film to watch; partly due to the various personalities of the four girls- it should be anything but boring!

13 Reasons Why: Season 3 (Final Trailer)

By Christiana

After an even spicier trailer, `13 Reasons Why: Season 3` seems to be more elaborate and consistent than the first two parts of the series. Now that every character is considered to be a suspect in the Bryce Walker murder case, we can only assume the worst.

Could Clay be responsible for shooting Bryce? If not, then who framed him? And why were Tyler, Zach and Montgomery so scared? What could they have done? But even more important, are the police detectives going to catch the real killer or are they going to end up arresting someone innocent?

What do you think about the new trailer and the official `13 Reasons Why` website- where you can get clues about the murderer? Did you figure out who did it?

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

By Alexandra

The series is the prequel to the 1982 film "The Dark Crystal", exploring the fantastical territory of Thra through the eyes of three Gelflings. Rian (Taron Egerton), Brea (Alice Dinnean) and Deet (Nathalie Emmanuel) mount a rebellion when they find out their world is threatened.

The trailer paints a beautiful world reminiscent of the elvish lands from `The Lord of The Rings` and the characters are captivating. The series` star-studded cast includes Helena Bonham Carter (The All-Maudra, Gelfling queen), Alicia Vikander (Mira), Mark Hamill (The Scientist), Andy Samberg (The Heretic) and Simon Pegg (The Chamberlain) and one is hopeful it will dwell deep into the material left by Jim Henson and Frank Oz to stay true to the 1982 film; which is a must-see before watching the series.

Last Christmas

By Alexandra

...I gave you my heart/But the very next day

The rom-com led by Emilia Clarke (Kate) and Henry Golding (Tom) tells the story of a girl who works at a Christmas-themed department store and keeps meeting the same man when she is down or her life is not in order, by the looks of it. From the trailer we can speculate that Kate is depressed now or upset that her life seems to be kind of chaotic, and she also almost died, which has affected her ability to stay focused on the moment and enjoy herself.

She bumps into Tom several times and it seems that they (clasic rom-com) have a heart-to-heart and start caring for each other.

Blah blah.

But wait! The mighty internet thinks there might be a twist and that Kate is actually falling in love with a Christmas ghost (read all about it here)!! Well, if that's the case that just takes it up a notch!

Shameless: Season 10 Teaser

By Christiana

Seriously, ...we`ve got massive spoilers here, alright?

Fine... I warned you

If you have already watched the first 9 seasons of `Shameless` then you must be losing your mind over the new teaser as well!!!

The #bringmickeyback era has finally come to an end as creators Paul Abbott and John Wells answered our prayers by making Noel Fisher a series regular after 4 entire seasons. And you know what that means, right? The Gallavich endgame is far from over and I am more than in love with the news. The two lovebirds are having a hard time sharing the same "room" 24/7 and so, they decided to break out of jail.

“Get your Gallagher on” sounds about right because there`s been way too much time since our lives have been missing the show. This November 3rd get ready for a brand new shameless adventure featuring your favourite couple- Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey (Noel Fisher), world`s worst dad- Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) and...oops, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) and Tammi`s baby? As it has already been confirmed, Kate Miner steps up as a series regular too, while Emmy Rossum leaves the cast for good.
